Blah Blah Blah

I absolutely fell in love with Whimsy Stamps Meme collection this month. I found the sarcasm to be a refreshing change! Ha, is that bad? Well I think we all have those days and that is why stamps like these are always good to have on hand!

This stamp is the Meme FYI and believe me she was so fun to colour. I coloured her with my copic markers. You can just imagine her standing there saying blah, blah, blah. The background stamp is a newly released red rubber stamp that pairs perfectly with this collection. It is appropriately named WTF! I love it!

To create this background it took a little work, a mix media of sorts! The whole card is an A2 sized card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches the panel which is water colour card measures just a bit smaller. I combined different reactive inks and I also stamped the Messy Mesh back ground Stamp, if you look closely you can see it! I then coved the whole panel using Geso! I splattered it with gold, dried it and stamped the WTF Background stamp on my panel using black ink! I really love the new cube die set and thought it looked fabulous in gold behind the lady! To add interest I die cut some vellum flowers from the no see all seasons die set and die cut a flower from the Slimline Meadow die set for her broach! The gems that I added are from Sparkletz Barefoot Beach, another favorite that sits on my desk. The blah words were cut from the Selfi die set! I glued everything together and I had another snarky card that I totally loved!
