It’s all about the beach this month!

Hello today I’m sharing a little inspiration for the Clever Dexter Challenge! This is the 6th challenge and as it is June we are all about the beach! Every month we have a sponsor who gives a stamp prize to a lucky winner at the end of the month! Oddball Stamps is our amazing sponsor this month and I couldn’t be happier because I absolutely love Lizzy’s work. This really is a fun challenge!

Let’s make the Card

This card is an A2 size card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The image I used is Big eye skater girl No. 130. The card comes together in pieces first part will be the image meaning the girl and sand both of which I colored using Copic and Altenew Markers, were cut using a blade and only up to the skateboard. The waves and birds are from a older Hero Arts monthly kit. You can build a beach scene really cool. So I stamped those using different blue inks from Hero Arts and then cut it out. On a separate piece of paper I Ink blended the sky but very softly, I wanted to create a look of clouds and sun. I stamped the birds once again using ink from Hero Arts. To assemble the card I fit the waves in behind the girl and then glued the sky under those pieces. I dotted the waves with a white gel pen to give a foamy look.

Thank you so very much for stopping by I hope you get a chance to enter a project this month. Hoping everyone stays safe and well and as always, we can’t wait to see what you so Cleverly create!

Rebecca
