Fa La La La La
Fa La La La La

Hello crafty friends. I absolutely could not resist this adorable Shopping spree die set from Spellbinders. I found this style of cardmaking quite different then what I am use too. I have come too love die cutting and gluing little pieces together to form a beautiful image. I also love getting ahead with my Christmas cards making and Spellbinders Christmas Collection is stunning.

This card is an A2 sized card and all the pattern papers I used for this project are from the Dancing Santa Paper Pack. I started with a card base that came with one of my monthly card kits and glued a piece of pattern paper cut down too 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cm’s. I topped that paper with a black piece of card stock cut down just a bit smaller, and glued it to the pattern paper. I now had a beautiful red boarder against my dark background! I have long been a lover of dark backgrounds as they make colours pop and tone down busy patterns or images such as this one.

To create this sweet shopper I die cut all pieces deciding which I wanted to colour and the rest I used cardstock and pattern paper. I pieced everything together, referring to the packaging for instructions. I then added some crystals and sequins for a little added interest, both are from previous kits! The chip board sticker I used for the sentiment is also from a prior fit.
I had so much fun creating this shopping spree Christmas card! Hope you found some inspiration to get a start on your Christmas Cards. I have left links to products I have used, I do use affiliate links where possible at no cost to you. Happy shopping and happy creating!
