Hello Spring

We still have a little bit to go until spring but not to worry at Whimsy Stamps spring is definitely in the air with their fabulous new release! I may be aging myself here but I remember playing with felt board and making different scenes with the little felt characters. that’s exactly what the new Bunny Slimline Meadow Die reminded me of. I had so much fun creating this very colorful spring scene.

To Create this slimline card I did ALOT of ink blending with my favorite reactive inks on Bristol Smooth paper. But first I die cut the Slimline Bunny Die, I watercoloured all the bunnies, flowers, mushrooms and tree. A couple of the bunnies and shrubs I die cut out of the new St Patrick’s Day pattern paper. I used the Cosmic swirl background stamp behind the sun ( this is such a cool stamp). For the cloud and sun I used, Up in The Clouds Die Set and I watercoloured the sun! I heat embossed the sentiment which is from Hello Bear Stamp Set. The fun part was putting it all together, I adhered all pieces and added a few sequence from Sparletz Hugs and Kisses.
