Hocus Pocus/ Whimsy Stamps Mini Release

“Something Wicked This Way Comes”

I am always the first to admit I love a frightfully fun scene and Whimsy Stamps new Hocus Pocus Kittens Stamps and Dies have helped me to create it !

I am quite taken by Whimsy Stamps Slimline papers. They are all so unique ,this particular paper is from the SurReally cool Halloween Collection and I decided to use the creepy forest background , lets face it forests can be very beautiful but can become very ominous and spooky in a hurry. So that’s what I built my scene on !

Card Ingredients

• Hocus Pocus Kittens Stamp and Die Set
• Slimline SurReally Cool Halloween Papers
• Slimline Hourglass die set
• Clawed 6×9 Stencil
• black thread
• Zig Clean Color Markers
• Distress Ink
• Heavy Vellum
• Bristol Smooth Paper
• Wood Grained Paper

I stamped and coloured all images using Obsidian Pigment Ink and Zig Clean Color Markers. I then die cut them. I die cut the hour glass and used Distress Inks Twisted Citron, Speckled Egg and Black Soot and the Clawed 6×9 Stencil to add the shapes. The center piece is heavy vellum. The stand of the hour glass is a gray wood grain paper . I used Distress Walnut Stain to darken it . I simply adhered everything to the slimline SurReally Cool Halloween Paper and I had a spooky hour glass scene.
