I’m With You
I’m With You
Darkness can only remain for so long, light must be revealed, until that moment always know you are not alone.
I thought this adorable image from Oddball Stamps would be perfect for for today’s post! We are going through some pretty difficult and very unbelievable times! Every day we here words like social distancing or physical distancing, virus, pandemic! Extremely stressful, but all we can do is be there for one another and try to comfort each other and help in anyway possible! I am going to keep coloring and creating cards that I will eventually donate to those who need them! This particular scene struck me because it looked like the butterfly was physical distancing from the ladybug yet they somehow were still together. It’s called meet me at the sunflower No 417, another beautifully designed digital stamp by Lizzy Love. Every time I look in her shop I always find something I fall in love with!
So What’S with Digi Stamps!
That’s what I wanted to know when I first learned about them. All I can tell you is that from the first download I was addicted! I do have a collection of clear and rubber stamps which I love , however I found that the digital stamps actually compliment my other stamps and I use them interchangeably. In today’s post the sentiment is from Hero Arts I felt it worked perfect for this card. With everything that is going on in the world today I think it’s amazing that we can sit down at our computer and have the ability to download an image and start to create with it immediately. The price is definitely right! You can print on a thinner cardstock I like Micheal’s Recollections 110 lb paper. I have used this on a couple of different printers! This is also the paper I do most of my marker work on. I think it’s so important to support all our friends in this awesome business so we can keep crafting on! Oddball Stamps has so many gorgeous stamps to keep you busy while you are in, or if you are like me making cards to donate. For further savings you can use code REB1 for a boy 2 get 1 free stamps.
Let’s make the Card
Ok so I colored this image from Oddball Stamps NO. 416 using Copic, Ohuhu, and Altenew markers. These are the markers I always use and they all play well together. I use pencil crayon to shadow. The clouds are made with a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things the ink is Hero Arts reactive ink. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts My Monthly Kit and was stamped using Altenew Obsidian Black Ink. Pay close attention to the water drops I made them and I am very shocked, I think they may have turned out, I have been practicing! The base is black cardstock cut 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 the panel the image is on is cut just a bit smaller and adhered with Nuvo Glue.
As always all opinions are my own and everything I use is because I truly love it! I am very fortunate to be an Oddball Ambasador and Lizzy Love generously provides us with a code for everyone to get a discount REB1 will get you a buy 2 get 1 free stamp deal. So if you love digital stamps or want to try them it really is a fabulous deal! For now if you can’t leave the house It’s unarguably a great way to craft! Stay safe and well my friends and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!
