In Stiches!

I find that anytime is a good time to bring Frank out to play! Who is Frank???? He is a little Frankenstein created by the very talented Deb Davis of Whimsy Stamps. Frank has been a part of my card making journey for years! His little face stole my heart and at every opportunity I bring him out! Whimsy Stamps March mini release offered lots of fun products including a Slimline pocket die and Slimline papers that were feline oriented, but…. I saw something that I just knew would be perfect for Frank. I hope you like it too!

I mean if you saw yarn and buttons … ok never mind probably just me and my dark humor! As always Whimsy Stamps makes it so easy to make a card! I started by using the Slimline Black and White cat paper as my base. I then die cut the pocket die and coloured the pieces. The actual pocket I used distress Oxide Inks, very easy! Frank and sentiment are from the Frankenstein Schmutz Stamp set there is also a die for this stamp set. I coloured Frank, die cut him, stamped my sentiment and glued it to a black piece of card stock to give it a boarder. For the buttons I used black twine, which I thread through the holes and left the ends long. once all piece were ready I glued them down, added a bow and some black jewels for interest and this card is going to my husband!

Always look through your stamps, just because its a Halloween Stamp does not mean it can’t be used for another occasion!

Thank you for stopping by I truly appreciate it! I do use some affiliate links at no extra cost to you!
