No Clowning Around!
No Clowning Around!

Hello crafty friends, Its Halloween and no secret my favorite. I created a rather special card this year, for the first time ever I used a clown. Now for some, no big deal but when you are absolutely horrified of clowns, like me its a big deal. I decided to use Whimsy Stamps Creepy Clown Sleep Tight red rubber stamp.

This is an A2 sized card. The base being black card stock. The panel that covered the card stock, I decided to spray using Tim Holts new Mica Sprays, I love the slight shimmer effect. Once dry I peeled the corners and used vintage photo to distress them. I created the claw marks with the new clawed 6×9 Stencil and a baby wipe.

The clown I stamped in a no line ink and coloured him using copic markers and pencil crayon. I created his collar using crepe paper and a little red Copic marker around the edge. I added a enamel red enamel dot to the front of the collar. For the box I will list below all products I used to create it. I then glued all to the panel with the exception of a wobbler at the back of the clowns head.
This card for me was about creating something spooky for Halloween but also trying to face a fear that has been with me as long as I can recall. Have a very happy and safe Halloween.
Hugs
Rebecca
