Not All Roses Are Red!
Not All Roses Are Red!

Such beauty bestowed upon my table, each breath inhaled awakening my soul, the sweet smell of dark velvety petals, leaves a lingering scent upon my heart, and a silent reminder he loves me so.

Yes I Colored these gorgeous winter roses, a background stamp from Whimsy Stamps, blue! I thought this would be the perfect start to Kathy Racs 30 day coloring challenge, TheDailyMarker.com. It runs March 1- 30, 2020. This is a great way to keep up with your coloring even if it is only 10 minutes a day. I will also share a card I made using this stamp set on black watercolor paper just to show its versatility!
Let’s begin
I began this card with a card stock base just smaller than an A2 card base 4×14 x 5x1x2. I stamped the beautiful winter roses on the card stock using the Misti stamp tool. I used my favourite ink, Ink on 3 blackout ink (even the name is cool) Once all stamping was complete I began to color! My Copic markers provided the perfect medium for these wintery icy blue petals. You can use whatever markers you are comfortable with, and as I said earlier I will be showing an example of how I used watercolor on black watercolor paper just to demonstrate different looks you can achieve with this gorgeous stamp. As always I highlighted and shadowed my dreamy florals with pencil crayon and gel pen. Then for some added interest sequins!
