Oh Holy Night

Hello crafty friends, Whimsy Stamps has a new release and it’s all about Christmas! A beautiful collection of stamps and dies that will make your holiday cardmaking a delight. I was particularly drawn to the Oh Holy Night die set. First it is my favorite Christmas carol and second it has sentimental meaning stemming from my childhood. A dear memory involving my father and a Christmas Eve that was picture perfect. Anyway that was a long time ago and my father has since passed away, so I will hold on to that memory and allow it as a little inspiration for this card!

this is an A2 sized card and I new that I had to watercolor these beautiful dies. I cut my panel from the Christmas Eve Paper collection, just a little smaller than my base. I then die cut all the pieces including the new Stained Glass Window. I used it as a frame and kept the middle piece for a future project. I die cut the frame twice to give a little dimension and sturdiness. I glued the pattern paper to the base and my frame to the pattern paper panel.

I die cut all the pieces out of the Oh Holly Night Die Set using Arches Watercolor paper. I watercolored them, dried them and glued them I then adhered them to the panel. For Baby Jesus I used gauze to swaddle him. I kept the sentiment white and glued it along with the star to my card.

I really hope that you found some inspiration today. I thank you always for stopping by. I do use affiliate links where applicable and this will not affect you in any way. Have a beautiful day!
