Stampers Delights New Release- Alice!

To Create This Card….

I really felt that I wanted to create this card using a vintage vibe. The old school dinner, circa 1950’s feel. This card is an A2 size card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/5. The card panel is slightly smaller, just to give that little bit of a frame. The image was colored using my Copic Markers and Caran D ache Luminance Pencils. My coloring is not conventional by any streach of imagination and it is very hard to list all the colors, because there are so many. Some projects I am able to do it, but for this particular one I was not! I am able to tell you that I did use a lot of the RV ,E and BG Copic family. I did hand draw and color the background. Once all coloring was complete I made the shaker element of this card. Shaker cards are very easy to create.

I started by die cutting a circle out of the news print pattern paper. I then created a circular frame, using two dies,out of brown paper. I adhered my acetate or you can use old packaging if you don’t have acetate, to the frame. On the underside I used skinny foam double sided tape around the circular frame. Once I had all my pieces I adhered the news print to my colored panel making sure that I positioned it correctly to show enough of the image. I then carefully placed my pops in the center of my colored image. I then held my breath and peeled the backing off the foam tape and secured the frame to the panel.
