Summer Daze

Hello friends I have to say I truly enjoyed creating this summery card using some of the newly released products from Whimsy Stamps!

LET’S MAKE THE CARD!

This card is an A2 shaker card and I wanted it to look like a pool, where this sweet gnome is totally relaxing. To create the background, I used the Red Rubber Scribbles Stamp and stamped recollections 110lb paper with blue ink and then ink blended blue distress ink to create the water.

Prior to making this card I actually had a different idea but it didn’t work out! So I used the paper to create the summer letters, die cutting them out with the new Cutie ABC Die set. The cute gnome girl is from the new Gnomes At The Beach stamp set. I Copic colored her and cut her out. I then carefully glued the summer letters to the panel along with daze and used Sprinkletz fish and beads for the shaker material. I created the shaker window and adhered it to my panel. I then glued the sweet relaxing gnome to the front of the card frame. I thought this card was so fun!
