WELL HELLO THERE!

Hello friends, I was super excited to spend more time in the craft room creating cards using products from Whimsy Stamps final mini release for June. This was such a fun release, jam packed with so much summer goodness! I have made a few cards before inspired by the Eric Carle children’s books. This card is definitely inspired by those books but perhaps a little more grown up. Um let’s just say Eric Carle meets R.L Stine. Hope you enjoy!

I truly love making these type of cards they are so easy and of course Whimsy Stamps has all you need. This is A slimline card and to create the waves I used the new Taffy Slimline pattern Papers and die cut them using the new Slimline Wavy Edger dies. I arranged them on my white card stock panel and glued them down. The sun is from the newly released Scallop Circle Frames Die, it is the smallest one of the lot. I simply die cut it and painted it yellow! The little lobster is from the clear stamp set Octo Elements and the man and sentiment is from one of my favorite stamp sets Snark attack! The sentiment fit perfect in the Simple Sentiment Strip Dies. I coloured the images using Copic Markers and tucked them between the waves with glue. I adhered the sun and sentiment and I was done!
