Woof!

I was so excited to see this Blended Together Stamp in Whimsy Stamps new release because the dogs look just like my Mable! So I used Mable as my inspiration and Cree Cree is my cat he was there and I coloured Fern in on the bottom right corner and the picture is complete and no jealousy. I am calling this the faces of Mable!

This is a slimline card and within Whimsy’s new release they have more beautiful Slimline paper. This is the Dog Patterns paper. I can’t tell you how easy it is to use these papers and make a card. Basically your background is done for you! I stamped my dog image on Arches coldpressed Watercolor Paper using a pigment ink suitable for watercolor. I have been using my Graphix watercolor markers and they worked well for this project! I coloured the dogs and cat to look like mine and while waiting for them to dry I stamped the woof sentiment in VersaFine Vintage Sepia and glued it to a black boarder. I added a green bow and string because I thought it worked well with the look of the card. The stitched boarder is from the Slimline Meadow Die Set I altered it! Once all pieces were complete I glued them to the base with the exception of the boarder I popped that up with foam tape!
